Re: FSU to the BIG???

I thought Florida said they would vote against FSU joining the SEC Well, A&M thought that was how it worked, till it didn't. The article below came out a day after it was first reported that OU & TX were in talks with the SEC. Yup, that's the way it is today. When Sankey took over, the &quo...

Is it just me, but those '93 players looked really slow/not-as-agile when compared to today's specimens.

Re: Archie ....this aint right?

And the differences between the haves and have nots would make it unworkable. The better teams would underpay and the lesser would be forced to overpay. I’m not saying that I’ve described a workable system. Only that there is no way to cap rookie salaries without a union and a CBA. Based upon histo...

Re: I would like to see this

In the Utah/NW game, they never shut the communications down. The announcers were saying that the coach could tell the QB to watch out when they saw someone in the blind zone. I thought they even said that there were 2 helmets with speakers on the defensive side, which also didn't shut down during p...

Re: OU vs Arizona Alamo Bowl 28 Dec Leadup Thread

There are some athletes that entered the portal that suited up and played for the team.....Bryson Barnes, Jr. QB of Utah, is one such character. He played the whole game, in a losing cause, but had entered to portal to play elsewhere next year....prolly, because Rising is returning for next year

Re: Wildcat message board...link

Utah has turned the ball over 3 times (PI and 2 fumbles).....but NW has missed 2 FGs.....and Utah had a goal line stop. Pretty sloppy game, if you ask me.

Re: Archie ....this aint right?

How much does Purdy make in NIL (commercials, endorsements, etc)? That is what should be compared to an NIL deal. EDIT: But, I understand the premise of the conversation. Good Point, humble......My research shows that Brock has a net worth of ~$6 million in just 2 years in the NFL. He is affiliated...

Re: Ryan Minor...RIP

It is a shame that he went so young. I thought they didn’t even recommend a colonoscopy till after 50. They need some other test that is simpler and can be given to young people 50 was the age I started colonoscopy procedures. But according to the Mayo Clinic and my doctor, they recommend beginning...

Re: Ryan Minor...RIP

49 is too young to die. Colonoscopies should start at age 45.....Ryan was diagnosed last fall with Stage IV. For God's sake people, a colonoscopy can save your life.....DON'T PUT IT OFF!

Re: Improving College Football

I found it interesting. They shared ideas on what they saw as the SEC/B1G and the other guys when it comes to the CFP. Right now the automatic placeholders are not in play so it looks like it could be the SEC playing the B1G in the majority of the games. But there is no plan after the next 2 years o...

Re: Transfer Portal News (Opens 4 Dec)

I have heard that we need to get down to the 85 scholarship level. Currently, we are 14 over the limit, which means 14 will be losing their scholarships. How do these portal players fit with the 85 scholarship limit? Good question. I don't believe that Brent doesn't have a plan.....we knew this day...

And if Arch stays (I woudn't if I were him), it'll flush another $2.8 mil of NIL down the drain......$5.6 mil just for sittin' on the bench....watching the time roll away.

I'm willing to bet that they are more anxious to get their NIL started than they are to get to work.

Re: OU vs Arizona Alamo Bowl 28 Dec Leadup Thread

Why not for the early enrollees……. Also i bet part of the reason the percentage of early enrollees has gone up (20/27 } is related to NIL….why not start early and make money if you have already met HS graduation requirement and with so many other players doing early enrollment you feel like you nee...
