Re: OU Softball (18-1) Hosts A&M Commerce (5-16) on Wed Night @ 6 PM
Texas A&M Commerce's one stake to fame this season is their game against Missouri where both team threw a no hitter. A&M Commerce lost 1-0 on a walk, stolen base, stolen base, and sac fly.

Re: Day #3 @ Love's Field: Louisiana 7 Sooners 5: "We are Human"
I was not at the game. I listen to Plank and watch the ESPN live. And overall, IMO, it would have been a very different game if the ump had called the low right pitches strikes. When the pitches have to be completely over the plate rather than just touch the edge, batters are more likely to get on ...

Re: Saturday will be Jayda Coleman Day!
I see that I did not understand what was going on before my hackles went up and I ran my mouth. My mistake! OUSB is my favorite collegiate program now, and I wish them nothing but the best. I was afraid giving preferential treatment might create jealousy or resentment on the team. Jayda came in as ...

Re: Saturday will be Jayda Coleman Day!
I agree Jayda deserves the accolades! However, my first gut-feeling was, "Why do this with a specific player?" Why not have a 'Sooner Seniors' dedication where each senior gets a write-up, or their own group poster for game #1 at Love's?....it is this Senior GROUP of players that has been...

Re: Soonersports.com
There is a minimum quality standard for a stream to get on ESPN+. OU probably needs to rent McNeese’s production facility and camera crews to have a stream on ESPN+ for the other 3 games. Same thing (only host’s game on espn+) happened last year at the Baylor tournament, Mississippi state tournament...

Re: Pitching Question
To me, OU's "potential" 2025 pitching woe is caused by Bahl unexpectedly leaving. If she was still in the fold, there are no real issues for 2025 with Bahl, Deal, Geurin, and Lowry. Patty need to work around that hole and I hope she can.

Re: Wrap-Up thoughts about the weekend @ Puerto Vallarta with 4 wins
Agree with your take Jayda is trying to do to much at the plate. She needs to take her walks and become the on base machine she has been. How many time did she gets on and not score this weekend?

Re: Haters gonna hate
The #1 can change throughout the season. No one had Bahl as our #1 last year until mid-March. May was our #1 in Feb and early March. May pitched the 8 inning gem so we can win 1-0 against Liberty. May came in and bailed Bahl out last year against Washington. Let's all be patient and see how this pla...

Re: What if…
i don't listen or read anything from McCleod says or prints. I lost all respect and/or interest in his product after he ran an unchecked/unverified article saying Paige Lowary was arrested for drug use. There may be some things he says or prints that have merit. But he's not getting my time of day....

Looking back at the ascension of OU softball
D1 softball published an article by Graham Hays that documented the key moments in the ascension of OU softball from a good program to the most dominant program in the sports. I thought it was a great read. https://d1softball.com/living-history-10-turning-points-in-oklahoma-taking-over-college-softb...
