My memory is really foggy on this but I think they were to start being used in the '23 season. Fewer HR's I would suspect. And, but not sure about this, since they are softer or lighter I guess, they would be less dense so pitching speeds would be a bit lower? Anybody else got a thought on this?

Early look at McNeese St...they played Texas this aftn. Texas won 8-4 in 7 innings. WP for Texas was their freshman Simpson. McNeese's top pitcher Vallejo took the loss. Simpson had 9k's for Tex. Vallejo had 1.

'56 you elaborated very nicely about what my original thinking was on my original comment but I didn't carry it out on the board. I think if McAdoo can get some meaningful innings she might be able to improve and provide some meaningful innings both this year and next. She will be a senior next year...

I know that it's still early......but it's almost starting to look like it may be more difficult to see McAdoo or Guthrie... We may still run rule teams this year but it looks more like 8-0 or 10-0 type of scores rather than the 24-2 or 30-1 scores like last year so the second tier pitchers won't be...

I think Trautwein will get the start as well. I hope we can get far enough ahead that we might get to see McAdoo get some time. Maybe even Guthrie??

Does the whole team travel on tournament and road games or is there a limit to the travel squad?

One observation that I had was our LOB numbers. In our run rule games, we had 3 and 4 respectively. I guess 3 or under in any game would be "manageable" (although I know you really don't want any). But in our closer game with LMU we had 8. I hope we can bring that down going forward. Could...
