Re: Our hitting going forward

Sam Roe was a top-five recruit. She transferred from Florida.

Re: The difficulty of D1 softball dominance.

I don't know how much more difficult a long-win streak is today than in the 1990s, but it's definitely more difficult. The increased volume of players is one factor. As you pointed out, there are a plethora of other factors to consider when looking at the difficulty of winning at a high level. UCLA ...

The difficulty of D1 softball dominance.

More female athletes are entering Division 1 softball than ever before. The growth just since 2010 is incredible. The odds are against any college program having a dominant softball team today, which makes the accomplishments of the OU softball team even more impressive. In 1990 there were 171 teams...

Re: ONE Word: Oklahoma vs UCLA

It's great to see Hansen back healthy again, but a lot of players brought their A-game today. I think it was the team meeting after the Baylor loss that made the difference.

Re: ONE Word: Oklahoma vs UCLA

I'd like to thank the Baylor Softball team for waking up the Sooner softball team. It's much appreciated.

Re: 2023 Softball Season === Can We Win Them ALL ????

A couple of losses during the regular season are a good thing. It's better to have a loss during the regular season to help you refocus than to have a rude awakening during the playoffs.

Jordy Bahl has demonstrated in the last week that she is far more than just a pitcher. She is an incredible all-around athlete.

Re: QUINCEE LILIO

I'll answer my own question. In QUINCEE LILIO's Bio, it says she redshirted. It should say redshirt freshman on the roster list.

QUINCEE LILIO

QUINCEE LILIO is listed as a sophomore on the OU roster. I don't remember her playing last year. Shouldn't she be a redshirt freshman? Does anyone know which one she is?

Re: Correction: Welcome Kadey McKay New Oklahoma Commit to the Sooner Family

Thanks, TropicalSooner. I think I've had a brief post here before. Maybe that was on 247. Not sure. I usually just read the post, but I'll try to be more active. I've followed OU softball since Keilani Ricketts was playing. Softball has become my second favorite sport, right behind football. I love ...

Re: Correction: Welcome Kadey McKay New Oklahoma Commit to the Sooner Family

I couldn't find Kadey McKay in the 2024 EIS rankings. I found Ti'are Ho-Ching, Maddie Hartley, and Kelsey Mathis tied at 18th. Regardless, I don't think Patty would recruit anyone she didn't think could play at an elite level.
