I don’t think it has anything to do with the defensive coordinator. I think it has everything to do with the offense. The office can’t control the ball and wear down a defense. Look at Texas Tech under Mike Leach. Case in point.

Remember how Stoops used to get the team to always play their best when underdogs in this game? Hopefully given BV’s experience as an assistant back then, maybe he can channel that to a W.

I think Bob set Josh up for failure by promoting him to being OC to soon. Clearly what he was doing was not working, and he was not recruiting top quarterbacks either. And then switching to the pistol formation? What a head scratcher.
