The stage is getting set for an explosion of OU women's basketball!!!

That has happened to me several times today, too. This evening, I've been able to post just fine.

Well, fast forward. Pickering gets a solo HR, and we go up 7-4!!! Maxwell relieved May, and UCF last bats they went down in order. We're still batting now, and there's a UCF pitching change. Knights put in pitcher Cochran(sp?). End of top of 4th inning.

All I heard of the game was the last half inning of the game, with UCF getting their one run, and then the end of the game. As soon as the last out was made at first base, with a throw from Jennings. I didn't get to follow this game. Did UCF have the same pitcher throughout the game? From what I read above, it sounds like we are so far unable to effectively hit off-speed pitches. I am hoping we are able and willing to practice doing that from here on out.

We win 2-1. Deal pitches well, but hitting kinda meh. Jennings does get a home run!

I'm wondering what coach J.T. has to say about our tendency this year to not hit as well as expected from our past performance, especially since we haven't yet faced very many of the pitchers of reputation.
