Re: Sooners in draft (nfl)
Rouse just went to Minnesota with the very first pick of the 6th round.
Likely the last Sooner picked in this draft.

Re: The Finebaum Visit
As I mentioned on another site, someone needs to educate Finebaum that Oklahoma has 7 national championships, not six!

Re: Maliek Hawkins
I don't think I'd seen any film on Maliek. He looks pretty physical for a CB. I really like this player.

I have to say that I was pretty impressed with Burks. He didn't looked totally lost on the gymnastics apparatus.

Re: OL Landon Rink
Is this the guy that is a Texas legacy? If so, I wonder if his commitment will stick - unless UT isn't interested in him.

He might be best known for his 71-yard TD catch from Jamelle Holieway during the Sooners' Orange Bowl victory over Penn State to win that national title I thought he was best known for his Sooner Magic-esqe catch and run in the final seconds against Nebraska that set up the game winning field goal.

I don't think you need to be so pessimistic. Both Lunardi (ESPN) and Palm (CBS) still have us comfortably in the tournament as a 9 or10 seed. That gives us a pretty good buffer even if some non-tournament team wins their conference tournament to steal a bid.

Yes, if we were to win either of our games this week, it would be a MAJOR upset and would all but guarantee a NCAA tournament spot. Even if we lose both of these games, we would still have a pretty good shot at the NCAA's with a win next week in one of those games.

Re: The recipe for success against the Sooners?? ---Look no further than last night's game of Florida against OSU
The higher that you rise in the level of competition in any sport, the more unusual it is for a team to go undefeated. When you talk about a sport that plays 50-60 games, it is almost inevitable that an upset will occur somewhere along the way. No one likes to lose, but it is a crazy if anyone expec...

Re: 5-7 Format Approved for 12 Team Playoff
Who are the five? Did I miss something, but isn't the P-12 caput? So there is the SEC, Big 10, ACC, Big 12 and ? Is the 5th the top ranked of the 2nd tier conferences? Or is it Notre Dame? It is the 5 highest ranked conference champions. And I read that the Pac-12, which is still currently a confer...

Re: O/U for Sooner Football Wins in 2024?
There is no doubt that the Sooners have one of the nation's most challenging schedules next year. That said, I think 8-4 or better is more likely than 7-5 or worse.
